摘要

{[Cu-2(L-val)(2)(4,4'-bipy)(H2O)(2)](NO3)(2)}(n) was synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction. In the presence of 4,4'-bipyridine, deprotoned L-valine chelates Cu-II ions into coordination layers which were linked into a framework by hydrogen-bonded chains resulting from nitrate anions and water molecules.
