The synthesis and structures of the two Cu-1 halide complexes [Cu-5(dppm)(dppm(-))2(O'Bu)Cl-2] and [Cu-3(dppm)(3)Br-2]-[CuBr2] (dppm=Ph2PCH2PPh2, dppm(-)=[Ph2PCHPPh2](-)) are reported. The compounds were obtained by treating reaction mixtures of [CuO'Bu] and dppm with dichloromethane or dibromomethane.
