摘要

Disupersilylmetals ((Bu3Si)-Bu-t)(2)Zn (colorless), ((Bu3Si)-Bu-t)(2)Cd (light yellow), ((Bu3Si)-Bu-t)(2)Hg (light yellow), and supersilylmetal halides (Bu3SiZnCl)-Bu-t(THF) (colorless), (Bu3SiCdI)-Bu-t (colorless), (Bu3SiHgCl)-Bu-t (colorless) are obtained in THF by the action of (Bu3SiNa)-Bu-t on ZnCl2, CdI2, HgCl2 in the molar ratio 2:1 and 1:1, respectively. THF can be exchanged by TMEDA under formation of (Bu3SiZnCl)-Bu-t(TMEDA), and ((Bu3Si)-Bu-t)(2)Zn transforms by the action of BiCl3 or BBr3 into (Bu3SiZnCl)-Bu-t (colorless) and (Bu3SiZnBr)-Bu-t (colorless), respectively. As to X-ray crystal structure analyses, the compounds ((Bu3Si)-Bu-t)(2)M are monomeric with a linear SiMSi framework, whereas (Bu3SiZnBr)-Bu-t and (Bu3SiHgCl)-Bu-t are tetrameric, the former with a regular, the latter with a pronounced irregular cubic M4X4 framework. The compounds are thermal stable up to 200 degrees C (exception (Bu3Si)-Bu-t)(2)Cd), photolabile, and comparatively inert for water and oxygen. The disupersilylmetals work as sources of supersilyl radicals (Bu3Si)-Bu-t (on irradiation) and as mild supersilanidation agents (e.g. ((Bu3Si)-Bu-t)(2)Zn/BBr3-->tBu(3)SiZnBr/(Bu3SiBBr2)-Bu-t), the supersilylmetal halides as Lewis acids (formation of (Bu3SiMX)-Bu-t.donor) and electrophiles (e.g. (Bu3SiHgCl)-Bu-t/RLi --> (Bu3SiHgR)-Bu-t/LiCl).
