Another downturn is observed in the anthracite market of Eastern Donbass in December, which is mainly due to muchweaker demand. Sugar mills have continued reducing purchases of large fraction material during the low season.Demand from population is modest because the weather was milder than usually in the first half of the month, which isin addition to financial problems. As a result, the population prefer cheaper Ukrainian coal to domestic products.Another factor to depress anthracite demand this year is gasification of the country.
