The complex [Pt_2(μ-S)(μ-SCH_2CH_2C,H_3N_2CH_3)(PPh_3)_4PF_6]_2reacts readily with Ag(OTf)(OTf = triflate) to give [Pt_2(μ-SAg_2CF_3SO_4H_2)(μ-SCH_2CH_2C_3HIN_2CH_3)(PPh_3)_4][PF_6]3X-raycrystallographic analysis was carried out on [Pt2(.t-S)(1-SCH2CH2C3H3N,CH3)(PPh3)41[PF6]2,[Pt_2(μ-S)(μt-S(CH_2)_3C_7H_5NS)(PPh_3)_4][PF_6]_2, [Pt_2(μ-S)(μ-SCH_2CH_2C_3H_3N_2CH_3)(dPPy)_4][PF_6]_2,[Pt_2(μ-S)(μ-SCH_2CH_2C_3H_3N_2CH_3)(dppf)_4][PF_6]_2, [Pt_2(μ-SAg_2CF_3SO_4H_2)(μ-SCH_2CH_2C_3H_3N_2CH_3)- (PPh_3)_4][PF_6]3and [Pt_2(μ-SCH_3)(μ-SCH_2CH_2C_3H_3N_2CH_3)(PPh_3)_4][PF_6]_3. The complex [Pt_2(μ-SAg_2CF,SO_4H_2)(μ-SCH_2CH_2C_3H,N_2CH_3)(PPh_3)_4][PF_6]_3 reveals an unusual quadruply bridgingsulfide, whose presence demonstrates an unexpected ability for the unsubstituted sulfide in the[Pt2(SR)(S)] core to capture silver moieties
