The Gaumer Company has been a major supplier of electric process heaters, systems and controls to the process industries since 1962. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, U.S.A., Gaumer recently unveiled the latest addition to its product lineup, ElectroClean. A single-vessel fuel gas conditioning system consisting of an electric pre-heater, tube-side of cross exchanger, pressure reduction, shell-side cross exchanger, coalescence and an electric superheater, ElectroClean provides dry; clean gas to any dry-low NO{sub}x gas turbine, the company said. ElectroClean can be placed between any piping source of fuel gas and the gas turbine. According to the company, the only other equipment needed is the optional filter/coalescer located on the gas turbine for fine removal of entrained oils, rust, mill scale and debris.
