Following on from its success in 2004, the Design Engineering Show (DES) is again returning to the NEC Birmingham - from 4-6 October 2005. The exhibition is geared specifically to the needs of the engineering design community and, according to the organiser, Penton Media Europe, has been created as a platform to provide everything needed to enable a company to specify, design, engineer, make and test new product designs more rapidly and cost-effectively. This year, DES will be co-located with five other events that will deliver even more to design engineers: Time Compression Technologies (TCT); Inspex, the show for the quality, inspection and measurement industries; Tooling, a manufacturing event dedicated to tooling and work holding; Interplas; and Service Management Europe.
