At Day International's production facility in Dundee, 40,000m2 of rubberised sheet, used to transfer ink to paper in printing presses, is manufactured per month on machines working around the clock. The sheets need to meet the high-speed requirements of newspaper presses or provide the accuracy to flawlessly print banknotes and their final performance depends on the speed at which they are fed through each production process.
