Twenty-one tax a belonging to the compacta species group of genus Ceratina Latreille are recorded from the Oriental region. Six of them are described as new species, C.sakagamina sp. no v., C. opipara sp. no v., C. spectata sp. no v. and C. grandis sp. no v., and new subspecies of C. nigrolateralis Cockerel1,C. nigrolateralis domestica ssp. nov. and C皿nigrolateralis malayana ssp. nov. Relationships between the new taxa and allied known taxa occurring in the Oriental region are discussed with illustrations.
