The School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS, and the Southern Society for Coatings Technology will host the 35th Annual International Waterborne Symposium on January 29-February 1, 2008, in New Orleans, LA. It will be held at a new location this year—the Marriott Hotel near the Modal Convention Center. This year's theme is "Advances in Sustainable Coating Technologies." Prior to the start of the Symposium, four Short Courses—"Modern Coatings —Current and Emerging Technologies," "Physical Principles of Formulation," "Reformulating Waterborne Coatings," and a course to be announced—will be held January 28-29.
