PPG Industries' protective and marine coatings business (PMC) and Hi-Temp Coatings Technology Co. have signed a multi-year global distribution agreement for select Hi-Temp~R branded products. Hi-Temp Coatings Technology manufactures coatings designed to protect both carbon steel and stainless steel substrates from extreme temperatures. Hi-Temp coatings products are used in refineries, petrochemical plants, pulp and paper mills, and power plants. Some of the products may be applied while equipment is hot and running, and some help prevent corrosion under insulation (CUI) on surfaces that will be insulated after being coated.
