Clariant has recently announced the opening of a new production site for its Industrial & Consumer Specialties Business Unit (ICS) in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. The facility comes after an investment of more than $20 million and an extension of four hectares. In Mexico, Clariant will produce chemical specialties and technological solutions for markets that include personal care, crop protection, metalwork-ing, construction, and painting.
