Nippon Steel announced on Monday it got order for 2 sets of oxygen converter gas recovery system to set for the 300 tonnes converter of Chinese fifth largest steel maker, Maanshan Iron & Steel. With the new order, Nippon Steel will provide the system total 5 sets for the Chinese maker. Chinese demand for such facilities is increasing when Chinese steel industry tries to improve the environmental effort and energy saving under the policy of the government. Nippon Steel will market more such facilities including coal moisture control and coke dry quenching equipments.
