摘要

A recent study (Zimmermann et al,2003) showed that the examination of the chemical mixing state of soot particles from an incineration plant helps to get information about their "birth place and conditions" which are needed if the particle production is to be reduced for public health or corrosion concerns.To address these goals,the simultaneous knowledge of the many properties of each single particle and their distribution over the aerosol particle population is required.The simultaneous operation of a aerodynamical particle sizer and of a laser based aerosol mass spectrometer brings an answer to this analytical challenge.
