摘要

A method to improve the durability of electrically conductive polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers treated with the Cu_xS method was developed in this article. The influence of pretreatment with activators and posttreatment with polysulfide on the durability was studied, and the mechanism was proposed. The results showed that, combining activation with acetic acid with posttreatment with polysulfide, the durability of the electrically conductive fiber increased. This is attributed to the swelling and etching effects of the activator as well as the formation of uniform thick, and compact conductive alyers obtained from polysulfide treatment.
