摘要

Let I be an ideal of a commutative Noetherian ring R such that ara(I) = t ≥ 2. Thepurpose of this article is to show that there exists an I-filter regular sequence y_1,...,y_tfor R such that Rad(I) = Rad(y_1,..., y_t) and cd((1,..., i),R)= ifor all 1 ≤i < t.Also, it is shown that ara(I) ≤ dim R+1, which is a generalization of a nice result ofKronecker [14]. In addition, some applications are included.
