The enthalpy increments of (U_yTh_(1-y))O_2 solidsolutions with y=0.1, 0.5 and 0.9 were measured by using a dropcalorimeter of isoperibol type. The experimental data cover thetemperature range 473-973K relative to 298K. Otherthermodynamic functions such as heat capacity, entropy and freeenergy function of these solid solutions were derived from themeasured enthalpy increment values. The results indicate that theenthalpies of (U_yTh_(1-y))O_2 solid solutions in the temperaturerange 473-973K obey the Neumann-Kopp molar additivity rule.
