摘要

Electrochemical studies were performed onLaNi_(4. 15)Co_(0.43)Mn_(0.40)Fe_(0.02) alloy electrode. Thekinetics of the electrochemical hydrogen absorption/desorptionreaction was studied by DC polarization and AC impedancemeasurements. In a low overpotential range the reaction is charge-transfer controlled while in a high-overpotential range, thecombine mechanism, charge-transfer and hydrogen diffusion in thebulk of the alloy is operative. Both exchange current, 10, andhydrogen diffusion coefficient, D, slightly increase with hydrogenconcentration in the alloy electrode.
