The experiment was conducted during 2003 and 2004. The treatments consisted of four varieties, two spacing and three seed rates. Variety RMO 225 produced significantly higher grain yield as well as harvest index. Wider spacing of 45 cm proved superiorover 30 cm. There was significant increase in grain yield by using 10 kg seed per ha (6.68 and 8.36 q/ha during 1st and 2nd years, respectively) over 15 and 20 kg/ha.
