A new polyoxovanadoborate cluster (H2NCH2CH2NH3)(3) {(VO)(6)[B10O16(OH)(6)](2)} center dot 11H(2)O was prepared by hydrothermal technique and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, IR and TGA. The crystal of the new compound belongs to monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 20.198(1) angstrom, b = 13.4476(8) angstrom, c = 21.602(1) angstrom, beta = 97.067(1)degrees, V = 5822.8(5) angstrom(3), Z = 4, D-c = 1.956 g cm(-3), M = 1714.4, mu = 1.066 mm(-1), S = 1.905, R = 0.059, R-w = 0.0966.
