摘要

Good yields of five 2-aryl-4Н-[1,3]oxazino[5,6-h]quinoline-4-thiones were obtained via the reaction of ammonium thiocyanate and aroyl chlorides with 8-hydroxyquinoline in the presence of N-methylimidazole under solvent-free conditions. The important features of this new procedure are cleaner reaction profiles with simple experimental and work-up procedures.
