It is a well acknowledged fact that foliar nutrients provide instant nourishment to the plants which not only enhance the growth rate of plants but also boost their productivity. Present review focuses on bringing in a nutshell, diverse information about different foliar formulations (natural, synthetic and commercially available) which can play a significant role in sustainable improvement of mulberry plants and silkworms, Bombyx mori L. (Lepidoptera: Bombycidae). Furthermore, it reveals that foliar sprays on mulberry plants help in disease management, enhance biochemical constituents in mulberry plants, silkworm growth as well as cocoon parameters.
