Changes in some hematological and biochemical parameters of the blood of juvenile Kamchatka steelhead Parasalmo mykiss from rivers of Kamchatka are investigated in relation to the change in the environment. Their physiological norm is also determined. Some age traits of hematological parameters of juveniles (of parr and "halfpounders") are determined. The "halfpounders" differ in high erythrocyte counts and special traits of leukocyte counts: lymphocyte count is low, while neutrophil count is increased. Biochemical parameters are determined whose values differ significantly in parr and in halfpounders. In halfpounders the concentrations of crude protein and of calcium are increased; the parameters of lipid metabolism (triglycerids and cholesterin) are increased; the concentration of extracellular enzyme alkaline phosphatase is considerably increased. These changes are additional markers of the stay of fishes in the marine environment and of the modification of metabolic processes in the course of changes in the environment.
