摘要

A new year brings about changes to the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, not least the beginning of my term as the Editor-in-Chief for the journal. I would very much like to take this opportunity to thank my predecessor, Dr Ailsa Brotherton, for setting in motion a number of excellent initiatives, which I will hopefully be able to capitalise on during my tenure in post. I wish her well with her new role. In addition to my own appointment, the editorial team is undergoing some important changes, with Professor Kevin Whelan taking on the role of Associate Editor-in-Chief. Over the first few months of 2013, we will also be remodelling the Editorial Board.
