摘要

In this paper, the reaction kinetics of three coals are studied in this paper. For this purpose, simulated TGA curves were made, for reactions with different kinetic models, at different heating rates. The results show that the moisture removal rate is mainly dependent on the inherent moisture. The drying kinetics of the Indonesian {IBC, ABK) and Inner Mongolian coal investigated in this study is the best represented by phase boundary reaction and second order chemical reaction. It also showed that the conversion of non-isothermal drying is more affected by inherent moisture, rather than by heating rate.
