摘要

The adhesion between nylon-6/aluminium is discussed in terms of mechanical interlocking mechanism on a microscopic scale. A new ''shaft-loaded'' blister test was adopted to measure simultaneously the adhesive properties of thin nylon-6 films. Fracture toughness is also measured by a double cantilever beam geometry. Variables including polymer film thickness, hot-press conditions and durability are also investigated. [References: 25]
