One of the big problems growers and sellers of organic tomatoes and other vegetables have had over the past several years has been dealing with high demand. It's difficult for suppliers to keep a year-round steady flow of produce to retailers and foodservice operators. Wholesum Family Farms, Inc., however, has recently opened a new organic tomato greenhouse just north of Nogales, Ariz., which is one of the logistical, transportation centers for North American produce. The company, which employs over300 people, recently opened a 12-acre greenhouse.
