The piezomagnetic properties of rapidly quenched Fe_(73.5)Cu_1Nb_3Si_(13.5)B_9 alloy strips were investigated in as-quenched state and after annealing for 1 h in vacuum in the temperature range from 300 deg C to 600 deg C. The saturation magnetostriction was equal to about 25 * 10~(-6) for as-quenched state and after annealings to 480 deg C and next decreased to nearly zero after annealing at 550 deg C. The magnetomechanical coupling coefficients increased from 0.1 to 0.72 after annealing at temperature range from 440 deg C to 470 deg C. The elasticity modulus varied from 58 to 170 to 200 GPa (after crystallization).
