The magnetic susceptibility of molten Ag(Cl_(1-x)I_x) was measured as a function of temperature below the liquidus temperature and up to 1050 deg C. The diamagnetic susceptibility of AgCl increases with increasing temperature after melting, while the susceptibility of molten AgI does not change on melting and its value decreases only slightly with increasing temperature in the liquid state.
