Self diffusion coefficients of various polyvalent elements were measured with the aid of square-wave voltammetry. For all elements, a linear correlation between log( D) and 1/T was observed. Self diffusion coefficients of polyvalent ions differ by more than two orders of magnitude at 1100 degrees C.
