摘要

Eight inorganic chemicals viz. salicylic acid, ferrous sulphate, copper sulphate, manganese sulphate, potassium sulphate, magnesium sulphate, zinc sulphate and calcium carbonate were used as supplements to malt extract agar (MEA) medium to assess their effects on growth and yield of five strains of milky mushroom, namely CI-3, CI-4, CI-5, CI-6 and CI-10. Maximum radial growth was observed in ferrous sulphate, manganese sulphate and copper sulphate supplemented medium in CI-6 strain followed by magnesium sulphate. Magnesium sulphate amendment resulted in the minimum time for spawn run, maximum number of pinhead initiation and first harvesting (22 d) and the highest yield as well as the maximum average weight per fruit body in both strains CI-6 and CI-4 as compared to control.
