This paper generalizes the main scientific, technical, and technological results obtained during the creation of the MSU-V high-resolution multispectral scanning device, which is an analog of the thermatic mapper of the American satellite Landsat-5. The technical characteristics of the device are described, along with the results of operating it as part of the Okean-O spacecraft. Thematically processed pictures of the Republic of tatarstan obtained with the MSU-V are presented.
