The continuing pressure to reduce costs has been a topic in the international coating and laminating business long betore the financial crisis brought the upswing to a stand still. The crisis, however, has revealed a need for innovation, since film producers, coaters and printers now face an aggressive end user purchasing policy with every member of the value chain trying to survive the monetary squeeze.
