As already at ICE Europe, Spooner Indus- tries will be featuring its Air Turn at ICE USA. The Air Turn on display is actually a model made of durable ABS plastics. It has been designed, engineered and each component 3D-printed at Spooner's manufacturing facility in the UK. Kate Baker, Marketing Manager, Spooner Industries, explains, Models made of ABS plastic are also tough enough to be used as working parts. You can make complex assemblies that work. Pieces can be formed to actually snap or fit together. ABS prototypes can withstand rigorous functional testing and retain their exact dimensions.
