Part of the Genes'Ink R&D is dedicated to developing silver nanoparticles inks, which are incorporated in coatings and ink formulations. Due to its unique properties, Genes'Ink silver conductive inks provide highly conductive printed patterns, even with heat treatment below 120°C. The company's technology brings fundamental innovation that allows many industries to massively reduce their silver consumption and to print electronic devices onto flexible substrates. Direct printing of electrical components requires improved adhesion performances of the ink onto the substrate, high ink stability during storage and good electrical conductivity of the printed pattern upon sintering of nanoparticles. According to the company, several silver water-and solvent-based inkjet inks are commercially available, but none of them can combine all these requirements.
