In the sixtieth year of the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV) the 25th IKV Colloquium is taking place in Aachen, Germany, from March 3-4, 2010. The IKV at RWTH Aachen University is one of the biggest institutes engaged in this field of research. The Institute has more than 300 employees working on the problems encountered during the processing of the many different types of plastics that are now available. The spectrum of IKV research covers injection moulding, extrusion, rubber technology, part design, materials technology, composites and PU technology.
