摘要

Non melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) is the most common skin cancer. The American Cancer Society estimates that more than one million patients in the US are diagnosed with NMSC yearly, with BCCs accounting for 80-90% of these cancers.1 Modern demographic distribution in western countries exhibits a further increase in the older population and the total amount of NMSC is a raising problem.2 Knowledge about treatment procedures and outcome in different countries is still sparse and new upcoming data on epidemiology, etiology and guidelines for management are still required in planning our health care system.
