摘要

During operations of electrojet engines on board spacecraft, flows of thermal ions and neutral particles of the metal working fluid appear, directed opposite to the motion of the main stream. This phenomenon, under certain conditions, leads to the formation of thin films of the metal working fluid on the external surfaces of optical devices. The paper presents the results of experimental studies of the effect of thin cesium films of different thicknesses and the morphological changes in the structure of the films themselves on the spectral transparency of quartz glass.
