摘要

Experimental investigation of harmonics at the output of the inverter drive is a challenging work for the researchers. A fundamental harmonic is comfortable to drive theThree phase Induction motor, the motor is running with PWM drive generates number of odd harmonics with the fundamental harmonic, the fundamental harmonics acting as source for the mechanical force to rotate the induction motor, but the additional harmonics does not contribute any mechanical force to the motor instead it is simply dissipated as heat in the windings of the Three phase Induction motor. To minimize the additional harmonics in this paper a Multilevel inverter is used to determined the stator winding temperature of Three phase Induction motor is presented in this paper.
