Complexes of Mn~III and Co~III with salicylidene-4,4-dimethyl-3-thiosemicarbazide(H_2sald mtsc),salicylidcnemorpholine-N-thiohydrazine(H_2salmth)and salicylidenepiperidine-N-thiohydrazide(H_2salpth)of the types [MnL(LH)] and [Co_2L_3].nH_2O(H_2L = H_2saldmtsc,H_2salmth or H_2salpth and n = 1 or 3)have been prepared.The cobalt(III)complexes have been suggested to have low-spin dinuclear octahedral and the manganese(III)complexes high-spin octahedral structure.
