摘要

Copper(II) complexes of general composition CuLX_2 (where X = Cl~-, 1/2, SO_4~(2-), NO_3~- and MeCOO~-; L = DAED, BEAP) have been prepared with 2,3,8,9-tetramethyl-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododeca-1,3,7,9-tetraene [N_4] (DAED) and 2,3,8,9-tetraphenyl-6,12-dimethyl-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododeca-1,3,7,9-tetraene [N_4] (BDAP). All the complexes exhibits magnetic moment corresponding to one unpaired elelctron. The complexes have tetragonal geometry except the sulfato complexes, which are five-coordinate square-pyramidal.
