摘要

Analysis of the physical models of the process of separation of the material in the heavy-media hydrocyclone from the standpoint of the laws of kinetics and convective diffusion has shown that the mechanism of separation by density and size depends mainly on the hydrodynamic parameters of the streams, the concentration f the material in the volume of the vessel and the density gradient of the suspension.In order to increase the efficiency of the separation of the material, physical and mathematical models have been worked out for the additional extraction of concentrate fractions due to the recleaning of the thickened product.
