摘要

It is known that coal tar is a complex physico-chemical system, being the product of thermochemical processes which occur with the organic matter of coal during its carbonization. It is therefore appropriate, in the solution of practical problems associated with the choice of its processing, to consider the characteristic properties that affect the process of production (recovery) of the various end products.Based on this approach, the most important characteristics of coal tar are its chemical composition, which determines the intermolecular interactions of the components and these in turn lead to the formation of azeotropic mixtures and polyeutectic systems, and also colloidal properties which affect the rheological characteristics of tar.
