A 7-month-old, maleeutered, Great Dane dog was examined for a 1-month history of progressive right facial swelling, intermittent sneezing, right eye (OD) epiphora, and dermal tear staining. The dog was obtained by the client at 4-months of age froma breeder and there was no known significant medical, surgical, or dental history. The dog's diet consisted primarily of commercially available premium kibble formulated for large-breed, growing dogs.
