A 6-month-old Basscti /found dog pvesenwd for cvcdiiiition of recurrent oral bleeding and a riglu nuixillary swelling. Oral examination revealed right maxilhiry enlargenieni exending from the level of the right maxillary canine tooth to the area cfthe second and third premolar teeth. A discolored persistent right maxillary deciduous canine tooth and gingival inllammalion was noted. Biopsies taken at the time of extraciicm of the persisteitt deciduous canine tooth resulted in sigiii/icaiii hemorrhage and a biopsy report of reactive bone. The right ina.xillaiy enlargement did not resolve jollowing the extraction proeediiiv and empirical antimicrobial therapy. The owner elected euthanasia and post-mortem evaluation. Hisiopaihologie assessment provided a diagnosi.'s of maxillaiy hemangioma.
