摘要

This paper presents a solution to an inverse problem for the elastohydrodynamic lubrication of one-layered journal bearings. Eccentricity ratio, viscosity of the lubricant at atmospheric pressure, pressure-viscosity coefficient, and bulk modulus of the lubricant are the parameters to be estimated from a given pressure distribution. The Least-squares optimization technique is used to solve the proposed inverse problem. Results are presented only for infinite-width journal bearings. The results showed that the proposed inverse algorithm is efficient and accurate.
