Every physician faced a situation where he/she is aware of the diagnosis but cannot act because he/she does not have the proper instrument or training. This situation is more uncomfortable when patient is already under general anaesthesia. It could happen while a swallowed as well as for posterior nasal packing in case of epistaxis. Nevertheless, Foley catheters are still frequently used because of their quick availability in difficult situations.
