Metso Minerals South Africa's man at the helm, Dave Moon, celebrates his first year as managing director for the company's South African operations. In 2007, Moon relocated from the UK to take up the position of MD of Metso Minerals (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd, and Vice-President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for the multinational company. Moon's service with the internationally renowned company goes back some 20 years, where he worked his way up through the ranks. He began his career as a design draughtsman, essentially working with the company's enormous range of crushers and screens, which now form the dry side of Metso's business.
