摘要

Magnesia-spinel brick have been developed that have thermal conductivity nearly equal to magnesia-chrome brick, by the use of special magnesia aggregate, in which the periclase particles have segmentalized grain boundaries. The comparative evaluation tests confirmed that the corrosion resistance of the developed brick for the sintering zone was nearly the same as the conventional brick for the sintering zone and the volume stability of the developed brick for the transition zone was nearly equal to the conventional brick.
