Pollen morphology of the genus Ohwia comprising two species, O. caudata and O. luteola, is described based on examination of samples taken from herbarium specimens by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The pollen grains of Ohwia are tricolporate withreticulate or microreticulate sculptures on tectum. The miroreticulate pattern is newly found in the genus. The pollen grains of O. luteola were examined for the first time and are clearly distinguishable from that of O. caudata in having microreticulate sculpture. The result supports that O. luteola is a separate species from O. caudata.
